The boys stop at Pontiac IL.....

We decided to pull up stakes and stop at this iconic RT 66 town.  A pretty, well maintained little town.  Victorian houses line the streets with manicure lawns leading to rocking chair wrap around porches.  We drove back and forth until we saw the sign of our bed and breakfast for the first night's stay The Three Roses. 

A 1890 Queen Anne Victoria with original woodwork and fireplaces.  Sharon the owner was our host.  We were the only guests in the B & B--- wow great. It made it better because I did not realize when I booked the room that our twin bedded room had the bathroom in the hallway.  It all worked out well, Sharon gave us the lay of the land and we dropped our bags and headed to explore the town....
