The Day the Kindle Died....

We knew why but all of a sudden my kindle died. It developed these smeared ink like blotches making it impossible to read.  I decided while tired that we would leave this beautiful hotel and room and hit the trail. It felt like time to leave even though my body was saying rest.
We saddled up and hit the old Santa Fe trail toward Santa Fe to stop at the best buy for another kindle. However, when we got there it was not in stock when the woman over the phone said it was at the store. Oh well, since Santa Fe was on the way anyway we only lost about an hour or so.  Now people will asked " Why didn't you stay at Santa Fe".  My feeling was the rooms were twice the price of  room at the historic Plaza Hotel and everyone goes to Santa Fe how many even know there is a Las Vegas New Mexico?
We continued our drive through Albuquerque toward our next stop the famous El Rancho Hotel in Gallup New Mexico.
